What a fantastic find, clean, comfortable and welcoming for pets and people. A great place to stop off to/from Scotland and a delicious breakfast to see me on my way.

"Perfect Lake District stay"

Excellent guest house on the edge of the Lake District. Perfect for our trips out. Nice and clean and breakfast was lovely. Prue couldn’t do enough for me and Mylo my little dog.

"The perfect stop off point to travel to Scotland."

Perfectly positioned for M5 Scotland. Room in car park for trailer and boat. Excellent breakfast served on time. Pubs in walking distance for evening meal.

Our host was welcoming and very sociable. The bed was very comfortable, while the shower was rather tight - especially for a large person. The breakfast was excellent and parking was easy. Very good accommodation for a one-night stay.

There was nothing that we "didn't like". However, some TLC required to bring the facilities up to a high standard.

My room didn't have an en-suite. Although the designated personal bathroom was more than adequate
