Quirky decor. The owner.

Two uncomfortable aging single beds in a cramped room. Outdated bathroom facilities. Didn’t discover the light switch for the bathroom until my final morning. Overpriced compared to other properties I’ve stayed in. Must be a Keswick factor.

Sophie was lovely and even put us in room with veranda overlooking the park, great location and added bonus of having a parking permit, would stay again if visiting Keswick.

Quirky room , lovely balcony , great host and great location.

Bed/ mattress was very uncomfortable did not get a good nights sleep .

Sophie is an amazing host Place was lovely and comfortable and smack bang in the middle of everything And the balcony was great too Excellent all round Will definitely be going back.

We stayed at Fitz House over the Easter bank holiday. We arrived around 2pm and managed to find some parking a 5 minute walk down the road where it was free! Sophie welcomed us to our room, gave us a quick brief of the area as we hadn’t been before and asked if we’d parked ok as she had suggestions if not. Our stay was quiet, we didn’t hear a thing, we were cosy warm and the bed was comfortable. We loved the little outside balcony space and the fridge came in handy as we took milk (brought own cereal for breakfast), fruit and a bottle of Savvy B (not for breakfast). Would definitely recommend this lovely stay over a hotel!

We didn't sleep too well, but maybe this was anticipating our 5am alarm The host forgot to leave toilet paper in the bathroom
