Coconut Palms Resort

First time to vanuatue and loved it . The coconut Palmer is a little tired but the staff are great the pool is awesome and i would stay there again .

Good position, close to town and competive prices suitable for what we wanted

I stayed just 1 night and made a early departure for an early flight.

very comfortable and looked after by caring staff. The atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and friendly.

The place needs a good clean and a lot of repairs. It is aged but could be made a whole lot better if the owner would spend some money and invest in some quality fittings eg shower screens and new linen. Also need to look at improving breakfast offerings. People would appreciate not having the same thing everyday.

Our private room didn’t look at all like the spacious, clean rooms featured in the photos. Ours was dingy and just fit the queen bed. Some of the sheets have stains, the grout in the bathroom is mouldy, our toilet seat and toilet had weird stains. You can hear every word in the next room. Also found a piece of plastic in my meal which I chopped down on. Location is fine.

Had a lovely stay at the Coconut Palms. Staff super helpful, really lively food. Great location, I'd recommend 100%

I have walked past this hotel a thousand times going up to the hospital for work, and I finally managed to stay here! Nice place to stay. Great location for getting into town (or MOH/WHO or hospital, if you need to access those places). Staff were very friendly and helpful,* including walking us over to a local shop that was open late after my partner's flight was delayed but he still needed dinner, and cutting and peeling a pamplemousse for me. :) Included breakfast was great. Good variety, healthy options, including fresh fruit, and there always seemed to be plenty of food available. Also, fresh eggs made to order. That is something I haven't seen at a hotel buffet before! Pool was nice and chilly. Long enough for swimming laps. Never full. Bugs and leaves found their way into the water, despite cleaning. Also, pool gets cleaned mid-morning, so schedule your swimming around that. One thing I would have done differently was ensured I booked a room with en suite bathroom. (Oops, my bad for not checking!) The hotel was not super busy when we were there, so there really wasn't anyone else competing for shared toilets and shower. But if shared bathrooms aren't your thing, make sure you book the right room for your needs. *(I should note that my partner and I have spent a lot of time in Vanuatu and are both fairly fluent in Bislama, the local pidgin language. Speaking in Bislama and respecting local customs does tend to ingratiate one with local staff.)

Like really hard uncomfortable bed, no hot water, for two nites won’t be going back
