Coconut Palms Resort

We arrived late and night porter was pretty shaky on details. Nothing mentioned next day but I'm pretty sure we'd been put into an out of service room. No tea, coffee, cups, microwave- completely bare. Staff at reception were varied, one guy exceptional other was very lack lustre. Wait staff in cafe very friendly. Breakfast good- Over all pretty ok for what you pay.

This was a pleasant enough stay considering the price was quite low. Only criticism is that we arrived at 1am after a delayed flight and there was now way to get a bottle of water. Breakfast was very good.

We were a party of 12, who had also stayed at Coconut Palms a year ago. Fantastic resturant and pool. Helpful and friendly staff. Cleaner than when we visited last year. No problems with cleanliness this year.Good breakfast as part of tariff. Rooms with ensuites were good and those with a baloney were good also, especially those overlooking the pool. Only disadvantage was that rooms without an on - suite had to share 1 shower with the rest of the floor, which led to waiting for showers at times.

The resort was very beautiful. It gives you that relaxing experience. The staff are very friendly with a smile on their face from sunrise to sunset. They are truely there to help you have a great experience in Vanuatu

Been visiting Vila since 1998. Stayed at most resorts, both expensive and cheap. The staff are great in reception, dining, bar and security. Room and bathroom reasonably tidy but not done properly every day. Noisy aircon and fridge. Need to buy new towels for rooms and replace pool cue tips. Would recommend for someone looking for cheap and friendly place which is close to town.

The Positives The location was good because it wasn't far from town. The pool was handy to cool off and relax in. Air condition room. Wifi only available in certain areas of the resort. Most of the staff were generally friendly and helpful. The Negatives Our room needed upgrading especially in the bathroom. Poor hygiene with cleanliness of the room and it was disappointing to see a few cockroaches. Poor lighting in our room, no phone and WiFi in the room. Some staff need to work on their people skills and smiling goes a long way.

Okay, but got over charged my trip to the airport, which was organised by John from the hotel $2000.00 Vatu

I the room stayed here for a night, my room was clean/fresh. My opening doors faced the pool area so I had no privacy from people in that area. Net curtain would have been ideal. The shared toilet wasn't then cleanest, floor, pipes,skirting would have been great with a scrub,especially being a shared space. Food and staff amazing!!

The hotel is in the suburbs yet close to town. Only a 5 min walk to the main street and waterfront. Nice pool, large bar with pool table and staff very friendly and helpful. Local supsupermarket & local restaurants are just around the corner. Stayed twice between island hopping & happy with choice.
