Lomond Park Hotel

El personal es muy agradable y la localización es genial. Justo enfrente hay un restaurante indio que, cuando fuimos, estaba decorado de Halloween y cenamos genial además de pasarlo muy bien, deportes, música... el lago está muy cerca y el pueblo también, asique si no quieres, no tienes porqué mover coche.

Las camas eran bastante incómodas, se clavaban los muelles en cada centímetro de piel. Y solo hay una ducha para toda la planta, aunque no encontramos muchos más huéspedes, si los hay y os levantais a la misma hora, esto puede ser un problema. Además, la calefacción no funcionaba porque el radiador no estaba purgado y solo se calentó unos 5 centímetros junto a los tubos, y con 5° en la calle, eso era un gran fallo. Igual que el agua caliente de la habitación, que tenía un cartel el lavabo de "be careful, boiling water" pero solo salía agua fría...

Staff were friendly and informative and a warm welcome .

Although there was a bar downstairs and the staff member said there was a band on that night and the bar closed at 1am I wasn't too worried as I can sleep through anything and was going out for a few beers anyway so it wasn't an issue, but what I didn't expect was noise going on till 3 am, so really only got a couple of hours sleep as I was up at 5 am. The room itself was basic not an issue itself but the TV was missing from the wall bracket Although helpfully the remote control was still in the room and the Internet signal on my phone was nonexistent so TV would have been good . The tea and coffee-making facilities were there but I didn't use them the kettle was on the floor as that was where the plug was no biggie really. The bed was comfortable enough although it felt a bit lumpy . I think the price at £65 for a Sunday night was high for what it was , although there are a lot of facilities close by. Would I stay again, probably not but would visit the hotel's bar and restaurant . As a closing though the pictures of the room are nothing like what you actually get.

Das einzig Gute war die Lage

Als wir ankamen, war die Tür zur Rezeption versperrt. Das Restaurant neben an, hat uns geholfen, dass wir überhaupt ins Gebäude rein kamen. An der Rezeption angekommen, hieß es dann, dass das Zimmer noch nicht fertig ist und wir sollen an der Bar nebenan noch etwas trinken. Als das Zimmer "fertig" war, lag noch ein gebrauchtes Handtuch rum und allgemein war es einfach dreckig. Das beste an der Sache war, dass man eine Deposit hinterlegen musste, falls etwas kaputt gemacht wird und beim Check-out hat man gesagt, dass das Reinigungsteam das Zimmer überprüfen wird in !! ca. 10 Tagen !! und danach bekommt man das Geld zurück, wenn alles wieder in Ordnung ist.
