Casa Quetzal

Such a charm and still very close by to everything, staff was attentive and friendly and super welcoming! We arrived early and they let us store our bags in our room while we got food and waited for our check in at 3pm. And on our check out, they also let us keep our bags while we enjoyed our day. Super nice, the property itself is beautiful and I definitely would be back!

A very nice “San Miguel Style” hotel with no fru frus but very good energy. Centrally located with lots of good restaurants and bars within 2/3 blocks. The price is right. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and quiet. The front desk people were extremely polite, helpful and available 24/7. We will certainly stay there again. :-)

The property is charming and it is very well located. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean, and they each have a distinct antique style. There are no amenities of any type (breakfast, swimming pool, gym, bar, coffee, etc) which is perfectly fine. Given its central location, this inn is an excellent choice for anyone who just wants a place to sleep in San Miguel de Allende. On the downside, right above the inn there's an entertainment venue (bar? night club?) which is very noisy with people shouting and playing music late at night (sometimes until 5:00 a.m.) so if you are unable to sleep in a noisy environment, I suggest you look for another place to stay (keeping in mid that most of the other centrally-located inns in this town will suffer from a similar noise problem) And finally, unless you are 5 ft (152 cm) or shorter, ask the property manager to house you in a room other than #108 which has a short (albeit wide) bed and a metal foot "board" that is guaranteed to get in the way of your feet if you are 160 cm or taller (at the time of this writing, a photo of that bed can be found among the images of Casa Quetzal on Expedia).

Great property on great part of the city

Great location, very close to great restaurants, shops, and main attractions.

Parking situation. It is off site and inconvenient. Breakfast is off site also...a seven block walk to a restaurant. We would not stay here again.

No front desk, no maps of San Miguel de Allende Bathroom with cold water Not serious to fix the problem

Nice place, cash only. Room big, clean but no water pressure and smell strongly of sewage. Great breakfast.
