Casa Quetzal

great stay at Casa Quetzal. Room big, comfortable. Was there for two weeks - always cleaned promptly. Good Wifi, friendly staff.Centrally located on quiet street.

Beautifully furnished, very old, well kept, great location, garden, roof deck, helpful staff

The location was perfect, common areas were nice, staff was helpful. The shower drain was clogged.

The hotel was good, our room was over the main Street but during the night was quite. Sadly, I cannot say the same about valet parking people. One of the guys, because it is not always the same, took all the change around 160 pesos and we did not realize our money was gone until we got back to Mexico City and need change ☹️ I tried to call the hotel but it is impossible.

We had the top master suite with a private balcony which was fantastic. Check in and out was easy, with very helpful and courteous staff. There was a heater for the chilly nights, a comfortable bed and extra soft pillows. Overall, the suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The private terrace/balcony is a great bonus with a great view. The location could not have been better, with everything you need within walking distance. Only con is the low water shower pressure.

Excellent location and very pretty common areas. Colonial style. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. Woke up at midnight with the worst back pain of my life. The room has no air conditioner which was fine in November because it gets pretty cool at night.

Pros: Great location Large rooms (we booked a master suite) that were charming Cons: -No restaurant on site, no coffee maker in the rooms -Room smelled like paint the whole time - must have been recently painted -No one speaks english - not even a lick, google translate didn't even work so we didn't realize until the last day that coffee was served in the lobby. Printing bus tickets was impossible even though I tried 2x w 2 diff people and google translate - There's a restaurant/bar behind the hotel that plays loud music very late into the evening - at about midnight we finally had to drown it out with the air conditioning even though it was November and AC wasn't necessary.
