L'Alcazar

The staff were absolutely wonderful. So kind and helpful. The location was perfect and easy to find. Walking distance to most things or a short cab ride.

The breakfast was always lovely but by day 3 of the same breakfast we found it a little repetitive. It was raining a lot so they had the windows all covered in plastic and even our door to the balcony. So sad we could not see outside or use what looked like a lovely terrace.

The location and the staff are excellent. Rachid , Sharon and George were so friendly and accommodating- All smiles all the time . The property itself is very picturesque.

Super schön, geschmackvoll restauriertes Ryad. Sehr professionelles und hilfsbereites Personal. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

le personnel, le calme, les repas

Un personnel absolument adorable, un bon petit déjeuner.

Tout est un peu vieillissant et les équipements mériteraient vraiment d'être changé : douche qui fuit, piscine qui dégouline bruyamment toute la nuit... C'est dommage.

The place was very beautiful and elegant, refined with materials of very high quality. Everything felt like home: breakfast was served individually at the table (food was delicious!), the room was very clean and everyone was super helpful. I will never forget the kindness and availability of the staff, made my stay exceptional.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ... immer mit einem Lächeln am Gesicht. Das gibt dem Gast ein schönes Gefühl. Der Riad ist schön und nicht schlecht gelegen.

Das Zimmer fand ich enttäuschend, insbesondere weil ich in der Vergangenheit einige Male in L'Alcazar war. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Zimmer, diesmal habe ich wohl das kleinste und engste Zimmer erwischt. Ich hätte das gerne vorher gewusst, dann hätte ich möglicherweise eine andere Entscheidung getroffen.

Very conveniently located riad at the edge of the medina. Being a top-prized riad - the most expensive during our trip to Morocco - our expectations were high. The staff was both welcoming and helpful, thanks to Rachid for the restaurant recommendation, we enjoyed a delicious dinner - but also to the other staff that were extremely friendly. Beds were comfortable and access from the room to the terrace was very nice.

The room was was quite cold - as expected in late November, but unfortunately the AC heating did not work, even the the staff tried his best. There was no extra blanket available in the room and had to be asked from the reception. Unfortunately the telephone did not work either and we had to go down to reception to finally be given the supplementary blanket. The shower heads did not work properly and the bathroom was rapidly flooded during showering. All these issues are minor but from an extra pricy hotel we expected a more comfortable stay. Value for money was poor.
