Very cosy hotel with a spectacular setting on Matemwe beach. The decor is beautiful and you can spend hours just watching the tide ebb and flow. Comfy beds and nice restaurant.
Perfect setting. very friendly and pleasant staff who went out of their way to assist and help with even the most bizarre requests. V nicely laid out around pool and very aesthetically pleasing without being ostentatious - lots of lovely ideas and beautifully furnished. Food was a little pricey and a little under parr but I think the management had plans to improve on this. The hotel is being expanded and there will be another pool but hopefully the intimacy of the place will be preserved
We had an enjoyable stay here over Christmas. Gabriella the manager was welcoming and attentive to our needs. The staff were reasonably efficient.
We finished our holidays in this little paradise. The perfect spot to get lost with your partner. quite, romantic, elegant, good look, clean, good service, nice beach, a lot of sun... and so on We really enjoyed it. Also, thanks to Gabriella for everything !!!
Hotel and common areas are very clean with beautiful views. Very windy in the afternoons due to the location and tides.
Villa Kiva is a boutique hotel and as such, it seems that attention has been paid for every single detail: The rooms, the pool, garden and public areas and the dining areas are all beautifully designed. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and designed to allow maximal privacy. Meals are served either in a front dining area overlooking the beach whereas or near the pool to avoid the evening wind. The food is excellent including local and Italian foods, thanks to the Italian manager Gabriela. Gabriela does her very best to make guest feel welcome and enjoy their vacation, giving everyone a feeling of warm and generous hospitality, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very nice room. Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Great beaches and gardens. Nice staff. But food was very mediocre, manager not terribly friendly, and mattresses not too comfortable. If this hotel was a little cheaper (100 and not 200$ per night) I would return.
There is such a lovely atmosphere in villa kiva hotel, very well managed. It is very qiuet so you can enjoy your relaxing time. The manager is really good to satisfy your request. It seems to be home but without the clouds and the heat. The staff is very friendly and sweet. I would definetely come back there.
A great getaway! The food was incredible, with each dinner being a 5-course fusion of pasta and seafood. The staff was great, always very helpful. Great location for a quiet beach getaway. I'd love to visit again.
