Loved the boutique hotel, perfect number of guest rooms to have an atmosphere without it being too busy or too large. Happy hour cocktails each evening, wonderful dinners with a catch of the day and a mixture of local and international palates (some of the Swahili dishes were delicious), and a good breakfast with lots of options and loads of fruit. Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful rooms and we had a great view out over the white sand beach and the sea. Lovely areas around the pools with lots of flowers. Expected the high/low tide to be more of an issue than it was. Not much fish to see if snorkelling from the beach. Thanks for a great stay!
Villa Kiva was a wonderful place to spend a week in Matemwe. The hotel arranged everything from airport transfer to meals to excursions for me, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Even though the area feels miles from any major town, the resort amenities (hot water, wifi, A/C) were comfortable and worked much better than I would have expected. The beach and surrounding ocean are stunning, and it's the perfect place to recline on a beach chair and simply relax with a drink while listening to the ocean.
Hotel is simple with good vibes Staff are super friendly Dont take half board as it doesnt help with the price and you can buy any dish u want for dinner anyway.
Secluded quiet resort. Matemwe beach is several kilometres long but suited for swimming only at high tide. The meals were good the 2 pools are good. Great boutique hotel

Great place, very comfortable and clean. Felt very safe at the resort. Lots of vendors hassling you when you walk the beach. Food was good. Nice selection of beer and wine.

Лежаки на территории отеля, с полотенцами нет проблем. Сытные, вкусные завтраки, большой выбор фруктов. Отель для спокойного, тихого отдыха.
