Beautiful layout and grounds. Wonderful room facing the ocean. Many choices of spots to hang out in sun and shade. Menu was fine. It was a delightful place to totally relax and read, walk the beach and swim. Tide schedule enabled me to swim twice a day. Recommend the snorkeling company on site. The best I’ve experienced, and very reasonable.
Beautiful quiet hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful and the room was a great size. We had the sea view and it’s worth paying extra to get.
Very relaxing. Nice room with style. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Very nice grounds, 2 swiming pools. The food was great, italian flavor. The beach is awesome. Very good for swimming when high tide, very fine white sand just a few meters away from the hotel’s steps. A nice opportunity to explore the ocean floor on foot at a low tide. After climbing Kili the hotel was an awesome place to relax for a few days.
We stayed at Villa Kiva for 5 days, and loved every minute of it! The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the view!
enjoyed every minute of this stay thanks to gorgeous surroundings and facilities, the friendly very helpful staff and the welcoming local people.. Really enjoyed our dhow trip on the lagoon that Santiago de Zanzibar arranged for us. The two fishermen crew were friendly, fun and highly skilled. Mariam gave me a delightful massage in the little hut to the left of the hotel, and she also does a lovely henna tattoo from a choice of designs.
Hotel has a cosy homely feel perfect to relax and chill out . Nice location on the beach but like a lot of places you do get hassled a bit by beach traders.food in restaurant is ok( breakfast was great) but worth a 2 minute walk down the beach to the left to Seles bungalows where food is great. Overall though really nice hotel and would recommend
Service and the grounds were great. Food was pretty good, but there were really no other options around so you had to eat all your meals here. More expensive than I would normally be willing to pay, but we had a good time. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was slow and I wasn't able to back up my photos like I had hoped.
Everything about the hotel was great, with the exception of the food.The breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order, and a ton of fruits to choose from,but with no salt in the cooking, the food was very bland. There are some good restaurant a short walk along the beach.
