Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort

Dear Management, I stayed at your hotel from 10 to 17 January 2026 and I would first like to thank the reception staff, the bar staff, and the personnel welcoming guests at the hotel entrance for their courtesy and professionalism. The room was very spacious, although the bathrooms would benefit from renovation. The beach is pleasant and the staff working there are friendly. I would also like to express my sincere compliments to the animation team, which I found excellent. The relaxation, spa and wellness area is also good. However, I noticed a limited variety in the food offered. Unfortunately, I must point out several very serious issues that significantly affected the overall quality of my stay. First of all, the extremely persistent and continuous behavior of the vendors on the beach, which is particularly stressful and incompatible with an environment that should guarantee relaxation for guests. In addition, there were episodes of rudeness by some waiters and, even more unpleasant, the direct request for tips by the room cleaning staff, as if it were mandatory. There were also situations that, in my opinion, go beyond simple poor management and amount to clearly unfair commercial practices. At your barber/hairdresser shop, after signing a voucher on the beach for a beard and haircut service at the agreed price of 20 euros, at the end of the service the face cream included in the treatment was not applied and an additional payment of 10 euros was requested, for a total of 30 euros. I consider this behavior unfair and the prices clearly disproportionate, not justified either by the quality of the service or by the economic context of the country. A similar situation occurred with the boat trip booked on the beach: after agreeing on the price, at the time of payment by credit card, since I had no cash with me, I was charged an extra 15 euros, justified as “bank commissions.” On a transaction of about 35 euros, such a surcharge is completely unjustifiable. Only after a discussion did the staff member say that he had “made a mistake.” Such behavior is extremely serious and, in my opinion, amounts to misleading practice towards the customer. I seriously question how the management of a hotel such as yours can allow operators working inside or in the immediate vicinity of the hotel to engage in such behavior, which not only severely damages the hotel’s image but also exposes guests to unacceptable situations in terms of fairness and legality. I believe it is my duty to formally report what happened and I look forward to receiving your response regarding the checks you intend to carry out and the measures you will take to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.

Cogimos un todo incluido y antes de ir nos aseguramos que tuviera alcohol. La cerveza que sirven tiene 15º y si quieres una lager de 4º, tienes que pagar 2€ por cada una. Además, había actividades que no estaban incluidas en el TODO INCLUIDO (como el show de la cobra por ejemplo). Tienen un restaurante chino en el hotel pero solo puedes ir un par de días durante tu estancia y siempre sirven lo mismo, si quieres algo diferente, tienes que pagar. La comida del buffet es mediocre. Es un TODO INCLUIDO RELATIVO, lo bueno no lo incluyen.

Érkezéskor hajnali 2 óra körül fogadtak minket, és kaptunk egy kis snack-et, ami hosszú utazás után jól esett. A londíner segített a csomagokkal, és hordókocsival felvitte őket a szobához. Karácsonykor egy kisebb csomagot és gyümölcsöt kaptunk a szobába, ami kedves figyelmesség volt a szálloda részéről.

A Spinx Aqua Park Hotel több ponton csalódást okozott. Két napon keresztül csak langyos, szinte hideg víz volt a zuhanyban; a javítás többszöri jelzés után történt meg, majd a fürdőszoba takarítatlan maradt. A hajszárító tartója alig tartott, nem volt biztonságos. A folyosók koszosak voltak. A hotel területén folyamatos felújítás zajlott (külső padló bontása és cseréje): nem volt zajos, de a mindennapos látványa és az azon való áthaladás kifejezetten kellemetlen volt. A medencénél a lépcső korlátja erősen rozsdás volt, elhanyagolt benyomást keltett. Az étkezés egyhangú és szervezetlen volt: a reggeli ismétlődő, a felvágottak és sajtok nem voltak túl bizalomgerjesztők, gyakran hiányzott csésze, pohár és evőeszköz. Forró csokoládé csak a bárban volt. Karácsonykor az ünnepi vacsora hidegen került felszolgálásra, nem volt megfelelő melegen tartás. Az elhelyezkedés nem a legrosszabb, de a környék lepusztult, ami rontotta az összélményt. Összességében a szolgáltatás színvonala nem felel meg az elvárásoknak, különösen gyermekkel utazó családok számára.

Extremely friendly staff. They even sang a song and noticed my wife's birthday. Some activites as well, xmas party, cobra show etc. After that it was somewhat downhill, maybe this is a 3 star hotel by now. Electricity was scary, sockets could be next to a hole in the wall. Wifi was non-existent, you got something really bad in the lobby area. We used Orange sim cards instead of Vodaphone to survive, bad mistake, once people went to the pool area, you could forget about connecting. Worked well after midnight though. All inclusive was, well, edible for the first few days, after a week you were super bored. Some beer and whisky colas helped somewhat. Aqua park was a rather small area, if you entered the water with a backslide you could hit the end of the pool, scary as the slide was fairly high after all. After xmas is what it is, maybe 17C in the pool on the pic. Us Finns don't mind though. 90% of visitors seemed to be from Russia, never had this few holiday conversations before.

I liked some of the stuff for example the man an the beach bar , one writer who made sure we can have a seat at every meal , also one of the man by the pool area. I liked the room was pool front . Bed was comfy and clean . Silent room I could sleep well.

No wifi only in the lobby. No warm water only hot unless you shower daytime. The lobby far from the room. Alkohol isn't much of a kind and not good quality, only vodka, white and dark rum, cocktails cost extra price, white/red vibe only by the lobby . Also big issue that drinks you gotta bring from the lobby bar by that restaurant . Beach front is quite small and occupied . Food is okay not so varied, but there's always a pizza if nothing else. Pool water very cold , can't get in. There was made constructive the whole time we stayed. Reception crew is a disaster!
