Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort

The staff at check-in and the manager were the only good experience in this hotel. The view from the rooms.

The hotel was old. There were ants on the bed in one of the rooms. My sister was bitten by one and had a red welt on her shoulder. When I complained to management, they called room service to thoroughly clean the rooms and change the bedding. It was obvious by the amount of dirt that the rooms are barely cleaned. The area where you pick up drinks at the pool, the worker there, was rude. We were asking what kind of juices they have he said go to the machine and check. We took the glasses provided and helped our selves, 3 out of 5 glasses were cracked and ended up with drinks on our clothes. To use the pool or beach, you need to pick your own towels from a shed by the beach. The variety of food was 3 stars at the most. They had dogs caged in the heat as a petting zoo with hardly any water. TV is small and outdated.

The front office staff are super friendly, cooperative and welcoming. they upgraded the room to a sea view room with a panorama balcony with a wonderful view on the red sea, where you can enjoy sitting or standing at the balcony or even laying in bed.

The maintenance condition of many facilities can be improved. The beach isn't well preserved and the coral is dead, not the best spot if you are interested in snorkelling, beach has lots of stones and using beach shoes is necessary. The food was below average when it comes to quality and can be bland sometimes.

The cleanliness, the location and the food. Pool, beach all were superb.

The staff were a delight like busy bees serving the resients well and keeping the place tidy and comfortable. Meal time was a happy time. Food was excellent and I was very well looked after. I could also see the other guests were all happy.

Nothing really that I didn't like. If I am pressed to say something, I would like the managment to re-think keeping animals in cages.

La struttura è ben organizzata, piscina, intrattenimento diurno e serale, 3 ristoranti, pasti abbondanti e di buona qualità. Spiaggia e zona mare magnifici. Staff cordiale e personale dei vari negozi accoglienti e amichevole. Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro 10°anno di matrimonio e abbiamo un ricordo bellissimo.
