"Staff are snob"

8.0

Not being a VIP but the moment I step inside the hotel I never heard a greetings even at the reception when I was checking in the lady directly asked me to fill out the checkin form without greetings. The next day during breakfast, I feel like invisible. The lady infront of the restaurant where buffet breakfast is being served greet all the people BEHIND me. Maybe because I am solo? I do not know. I already seated on one of the vacant sets for breakfast but the staff asked me to move to other table. Huh! Anyways..i love the room, the cleanliness of the room. The food in the breakfast. Except the staff!

"No Homey Feel"

6.0

The room where we were assigned in was so spacious makes an impression that something is missing. I don't feel at home nor had a good sleep contrary to my daughter who claimed to have slept so well as she was staying in the bedroom while I and my husband slept at the sofa bed.

"Not a 4 Star Hotel!"

4.0

Visually the hotel looks great and the breakfast buffet was very good but that is where it ended. There is no AC in the rooms. The balcony doors would not lock. The television stations are poor. The bathroom was in poor shape. The shower door was on rusted wheels and it was difficult to slide the door. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. The shower water pressure was so low, I had to stand close to the shower head. You had to leave a cash deposit on your room of 2000php. They don't allow credit card holds for this. The furniture in the lobby is badly soiled and on some chairs the seams were starting to rip. Internet is painfully slow and almost useless. There is no pool or workout equipment. There was a power outage during breakfast. Although we were on a backup generator for the whole day, there was no television service at all. We left around noon and spent the day sightseeing and shopping. We get back to the room around 4 to find a letter from management saying there was a scheduled electrical system upgrade and we would be on backup power from 9am to 5pm. This letter would have been more useful if sent the day before. The people were all nice but the hotel is poorly run and when you look close, poorly maintained.

"Nice hotel but try to improve beddings cleanliness"

8.0

Nice hotel except that the beddings have a foul smell that I called the attention of the housekeeping staff, but they change the beddings and pillow cases asap! Very good except for the smell of the beddings!

"Gone are the glory days."

4.0

Staff 8/10 - This is what I liked most from this hotel. Most (not all) staff from the front desk, housekeeping, and dining are very courteous and attentive and always smiled and greeted. Only, sometimes they talk loudly in the hallways. Cleanliness 2/10 - The hallways, the room, and even the linens do not smell fresh, but most of all, the shower room had MOULDY walls, and there was mould coming out from underneath the shower door when you open/close! The cleaning standard is obviously not that high. Amenities 4/10 - though they are generous in replenishing, the amenities are very limited. You will need to pay a hundred pesos for use of a bathrobe which I didn't end up using because it was so old and very scratchy! You will also need to pay an extra thirty pesos for a disposable shower cap. Towels look like they have not been changed for the past 10 years. WIFI is horrible. There is a wide array in the buffet breakfast, though cooking is fair (not great). The place has no fitness center. There is also no desk. You will end up using the bar stool and dining table for working on a laptop if you needed to. Location 8/10 - area is peaceful and accessible. There are bars and restaurants around the place. Teacher's camp is close if you wanted to go for a run, unless it is raining which happens almost everyday in Baguio. There are a lot of taxis (and jeepneys) passing by the main road which is a minute-walk away. Overall, I don't understand how the place was rated 4 star.
