Sally is amazing! We’ve stayed in the Magnolia Suite several times and it’s always a treat! We LOVE the Decker House and will definitely be back....our breakfast was wonderful too!

We liked everything. The thing that stood out most of all was the outstanding staff. They had to go coffee cups with lids for those of us that were on the go early, and catered to our menu needs as requested.

I really loved staying at the Decker House. It is run by an awesome staff, the breakfasts I had there rivaled the best brunch spots I've been to in my hometown, and the house is within walking distance of several must-see sites (the Music Man Square is literally out back, and the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum nearby is an unexpected treasure). Staff can also recommend some places to check out, too, based on what you are interested in. The staff has hosted folks during the Iowa Caucuses, so if you're looking for a cozy place to stay and get a restful night's sleep in January during the caucus, this place is for you.

It was an experience to stay in a B and B in a room in an older home in an historic city. I found it comfortable and quiet. Slept well. I would have liked to stay for breakfast but was committed to eat elsewhere with my 5 sisters. I would definitely stay here again. I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you.
