Doray Motel

Wonderfully friendly owners - lovely people! - small and clean rooms, nice ambience. The only down side, which was no fault of theirs, is that we happened to be there when there were motorcycling events out on the main street at night, which were loud. But you need an extra hairdryer or help to find a good restaurant, the owners will give you what you need and offer terrific advice about the gourmet places in town.

We stayed for one night to attend a festival and had a very pleasant stay. I found the Motel to be a great throwback to when I was a kid. It was small with two twin beds. The bathroom was also small. However, the owners and staff were great. The room and Motel were clean and well cared for. There was a firepit and picknick tables. We enjoyed our stay and will return :0)

The bathroom window was broken and I pointed that out to owner Mohammed Tariq. He has since accused me of breaking the window (although it was obviously broken previously - there was no broken glass) and taking two (yes, TWO) tiles from the bathroom...ludicrous...when I called him to discuss it, he was very angry on the phone and cussed at me...AVOID AT ALL COST - the place is falling apart and he is obviously trying to perpetrate fraud against customers...I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau of Upstate NY as well as with NYS Department of Consumer Protection. I will be in contact with the Warren County Sheriff Civil Unit in the morning.

Old fashioned, cabin like, but clean and close to town. Its a mile walk into town or the Beach. Each room has a fridge & microwave. The bed is comfy. The hosts are friendly and accomodating. If you dont mind walking, then you dont have to feed the parking meters in town!

The hotel is in disrepair, ceiling tiles falling through, stench in room, bathroom tiny and in need of a serious cleaning, also could see the ground/outside underneath the bathroom sink. Water pressure and hot water consistancy way off. Overall not worth the $300 paid for a 2 night stay. Would not stay again. The bed was comfortable and the location was good, those are the only good things I can say, unfortunately.

One of the lowest priced locally owned hotels of lake George area. Close to the Lake George beaches and downtown. Highly recommended if all your looking for is a place to sleep or hang out....

This is a sweet, old-fashioned motel. Very comfortable and pleasant for what it is, but it does not have the amenities of a modern chain hotel. More charm, less fluffy pillows.

Place was dirty, I booked 4 rooms, one room was so bad my friend went to a different hotel

couldn't use credit card not enuf money but the tried and took what was on it and did not return it so i ended up paying twice hot water was cool not hot will never retun
