The owners were very nice.

The room was nice but mattresses could have been softer. Extremely nice owners, allowed us to check in early. We had a fire out back. Nice big lawn.

An old fashioned motel. Got a good deal on two adjoining rooms sharing one bathroom. One room was kinda normal sized and the other was TINY!!! Barely room to walk around a double bed. No dresser no table a very small night stand. No place to leave anything in the bathroom either. Has to literally live out of my suitcase. Everything was clean. Could tell the bathroom had had a makeover. For the money we couldn’t complain.

This is one of the worst hotel/motel experiences we’ve ever had. The room is very small, and the bathroom is the size of a closet. We are not large people but the shower was so small it was almost unmanageable. For a larger person it would be impossible. There are hardly any outlets for charging electronics (an extremely important thing in this day and age). The TV gets only the most limited basic cable channels. The walls are paper thin, so much so that our very loud neighbors kept us up most of the night. At one point we thought they were going to come through the walls. The only positives we took away from the experience is that the room was very clean (it appeared to be recently refurbished), and the motel was very close to the Lake George village. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone expecting the amenities of a modern place of lodging.

The price is very reasonable. Very close to the lake and prospect mountain. The staff is very kind. Recommended

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the room wasn't as advertised. The bed was full size, at best, not queen. The bathroom was extremely small and you could see through to the ground around the piping for the sink.

Location

I always stay here, and the bathroom is newly remodeled. It is an older style place, no frills (no a.m. coffee) but the room is private, quiet, and comfortable. Walking to town is possible, for some... Not for physically challenged, seniors, or strollers. Stewarts is next door for coffee and snacks. Million dollar beach is right down the back road.

My cabin was clean, and the bed comfortable. The parking lot is newly paved, and the owner is improving the current rooms and adding cabins along the back of the lot. The owners are friendly and very helpful. I had a soft rear tire on a motorcycle. The owner offered to help me find the leak and patch it--he has done this for other motorcyclists in the past. I walked the bike while he and his boarder examined the tire, but we couldn't find the leak. Got the tire changed nearby, but they both checked in on me later to make sure all was well. Delightful stay. :)
