Sheraton Yantai Golden Beach Resort

I went there in the winter season. If you need to relax, swim and write, Sheraton Yantai Golden Beach Resort is the place for you. Don't forget to drink your perfectly prepared coffee in the lobby against the sea view!

There is no problem.

Near the beach but far from downtown of Yantai. This resort-style hotel is very quiet. Breakfast and club lounge was great. Indoor pool, gym and sauna room was very impressive. Staffs were accommodating.

Hardware: The hotel facilities are old, the equipment in the room is in poor condition, and the telephone, socket, and even the door are broken. The quality of the phone call is very poor, you can only hear clips of the other party's voice, and you can only contact the front desk by mobile phone. Catering: There are not many types of breakfast, and the collection time is too early, only until 10 o'clock. The service attitude of the restaurant staff is poor and inattentive. The chef got the order wrong and brought the omelet I ordered to other guests. When the noodles are hot, the chef cooks them in advance, but they have been cooled for a long time. I asked to cook a new one, but the chef pretended not to hear and reheated the original noodles. Service: The service is very poor. On the day of check-in, I reminded the front desk that another guest and I both have cervical spondylosis and needed hard pillows. The front desk promised to deliver them immediately. This hotel offers a very limited range of pillows compared to similar hotels of other international chain brands. When I returned to the room late at night, I found that the promised pillow had not been delivered. After calling several times, I found out that the pillow had been taken away. The staff was indifferent, and there was no apology or alternative. A pillow was delivered the next day. Due to lack of sleep, my husband and I were unwell, resulting in weakened immunity, exacerbated cervical and lumbar spine problems, and I also developed pharyngitis and cough. After complaining, the front desk manager only apologized and had no actual solution, and maintained his colleagues. A week after leaving the store, my cough still hasn't improved. Overall evaluation: I rarely write hotel reviews, but this time the experience was really bad. I've stayed at quite a few Sheratons in the past, but this is definitely the worst. From room service to restaurants to the entire management team of the hotel, there is a serious problem of service awareness and values.

I wanted to spend my family holiday with my family in the Yantai Sheration Golden Beach resort. The reviews were quite good so we were all excited to go there. I got a call from the hotel and cinfirmed my check-in time but when arriving nothing was arranged and I got to wait half an hour which was a bad start. The hotel is also a bit run down and the rooms are old, it looks different from the pictures. Worst thing was the breakfast with many people going there (as it was peak holiday season) but no tables available, we had to wait 30 minutes. I would not stay there again and have to say I would not stay there again.
