We stayed for 1 week- arrived on Saturday. The wifi was out by Tuesday night. The televisions were smart TV’s and no cable so the remainder of the trip no wifi no internet in the rooms. During the day had to sit next to the adjacent hotel to pick up wifi. The management was immediately aware and acted indifferent as if they didn't care, suggested it was out on the entire island due to the service provider (Flow) which we discovered one of the workers suggested they didn't pay their bill. Each time we raised the issued they acted as though management was not aware - really?

We chose Sandy Haven Resort as our homebase for my birthday celebration. The property is lovely and so was the staff. They even decorated my room while I was out for the day and gifted me a bottle of champagne. The beach is divine - one of the best beaches on the island. Highly recommend.

"Perfect Location"

A group of us went to Negril to celebrate my birthday. There were 7 who stayed at Sandy Haven. The property is lovely. Most of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, advising on where to go (and not to go) and going out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. On my birthday, the owner gifted us a bottle of champagne and arranged for birthday balloons and decorations in my room. The hotel is located directly on one of the best beaches on the island, so a short walk from our room and we were right there. Perfect. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. There is a bar on the beach where you can order light bites. We really enjoyed our stay and should we find ourselves in Negril again, we will be going back!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The resort charges a daily deposit which I don’t remember seeing on Expedia. The deposit is refundable. I would stay there again for sure.

"Ghastly Office Service"

The rooms are very nice..The office area is beautiful.

First of all I booked for beachfront and was given a room on the 3rd floor not beachfront. When I later read it was one bad I contacted the hotel twice and requested two beds..it took my second request to get a response..Unfortunately I lost the one key the hotel gave us When my friend went to report the lost the office person named Eddie rudely asked her was she drunk when she lost the key. This greatly offended and hurt her and I went to make Eddie aware that his accusation was rude and not in keeping with the service or attitude with guests..He apologized and asked not to report him because he could lose his job. Eddie knows he will not lose his job because if he thought that he would have not felt emboldened to be rude to a quest in the first place. I also had to pay 100 dollars for the lost key which is the price and I accept my mistake but due to the lost key we could not leave our room..The TV did not work.The maintenance person tried everything so no TV full time. There is no security on the beach there so we had to use Coco La Palms hospitality to keep beach peddlers away. Although I have contacted them by email text and phone call I have yet to get a call back as promised about the refund needed after the amount owed was taken from my deposit..I am a seasoned traveler and I am still in Negril which I love but I must say this is the worst customer service I have experienced except for maintenance and housekeeping.. And if they respond with an issue with me please look at my reviews on airbnb Booking VRBO Expedia and Hotels.com.. .
