Montagu Springs Resort

Loved the hot pools. Spacious Villa. Beautiful views.

Villa smelt wet / like old dog. Lounge curtain kept falling off the railing. Couches looked tattered and dirty. Fridge made a loud irritating sound. Ensuite shower kept flooding like drain was blocked.

place is delapidated , needs serious attention inside and outside , not close to what is advertized . no towels . not worth R1400 per night

The resort has recreational activities for younger children. The reception staff was friendly and helpful.

There was a mop at our entrance at 105.Upon walking in, one could see immediately that a major renovation is desperately needed in these houses. The cupboards are broken, the floor tiles are cracked. The kitchen is outdated and looks frail and dilapidated. The silicone lifts every where around shower edges. The matrasses and couches are slept through and sat through. Our backs are so sore from the uncomfortable " no sleep" matrasses and couches.The over all upkeep of this unit and 303 needs DESPERATE HELP. It needs a full OVERALL. Don't know what happened to this resort. As it used to be the go to "get away". Now we could not wait to get away from this resort. Truly very poor. 1/2 a star. If that.

It was really clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

It is very dated and old for the price you pay forbthe accommodation. Freezer was frozen up and so icy we could hardly fir anything inside.

Right by the pool. Effective aircon in the living room. Undercover parking bay. Microwave had grilling option which was very handy.

Maintenance on the property is highly recommended. Freezer door did not close properly. The aircons in the bedrooms did not work.

There was no breakfast served it was self catering apartment

Shortage of toilet papers

Pool was amazing and staff so helpful , as self catering goes has all that one can need
