Room was very hot, had to open window and decor was a bit tired

London Beach Country Hotel & Golf Club is a proper, well-maintained hotel in a lovely setting. After raising an issue with our first room, the staff were helpful and moved us to a spacious family room which was very clean, comfortable and much bigger than the original one. They also provided a portable heater, which made the room warm and cosy. Overall, once we were in the new room, our stay as a family was pleasant and relaxing.

The first room we were given was not clean and did not feel ready for guests; it even looked like the toilet had been used. It was also a disabled room rather than the family room we had booked, and the heating wasn’t working so the room felt very cold. These issues on the first night did spoil the experience a little, even though things were put right the next day.

Paid for breakfast separately & thought it was a little too expensive but it was very nice the food was good. Christine on reception was so helpful & was very pleasant. The far reaching views from the room were amazing, overlooking the golf course & had a balcony to use in nice weather.

The bathroom was very very clean but felt it could do with updating, bath out & a shower put in, stepping over the bath for a shower was not ideal, although I believe there are rooms with showers only.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Access to room was available from midday which was very helpful Lunch was reasonably priced and tasty. Bar and restaurant staff were very helpful.

Excellent staff, beautiful views comfortable room, tasty breakfast

Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming.
