Three night stop-over visiting Black Forest, walking and sightseeing. Good central location. Very attractive village and hotel attractive looking with flowers. Good parking. Unfortunately not 24 hr. reception but a phone call resulted in prompt appearance of host. Breakfast included in price and host generously allowed remaining breakfast rolls to be taken for picnic lunch. Dinner available.

Siisti hotelli ja todella ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellin ravintola oli todella hyvä ja ruoka oli maistuvaa. Huone oli tilava ja siisti. Suosittelen!

Kurzfristig für eine Geschäftsreise gebucht war ich rund um zufrieden! Aufmerksame Gastgeber, gutes Frühstück, saubere Zimmer.... Ich komme gerne wieder

Zweitägiger Kurztrip um wiedereinmal die Wanderstrecken in und um Baiersbronn zu erleben. Unser Fokus lag somit auf einer sauberen und günstigen Unterkunft als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Das wurde vollkommen erfüllt. Sehr nettes und bemühtes Personal, unkomplizierte Abwicklung, sauberes Zimmer und Hotel generell (wenn auch sehr kleinesZimmer,was aber sicher auch dem sehr günstigen Preis geschuldet ist). Für einen längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir uns eher ein etwas neueres Haus gesucht,aber für ein paar Tage mit sportlichen Aktivitäten ideal !

The service is awesome, the reception desk is inside the restaurant at the right when you enter the Hotel. The owner will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The room was super clean, the bed is comfortable and everything was good at the hotel. The room view is great, it had a balcony that faces the spring at the back of the hotel. Yes there is a running spring at the back of the hotel. The free breakfast was very good, please see the photos yourself, 5 kinds of breads, lots of cheese, eggs, juices, cereal, many different kind of jams, milk,tea, coffee and you can have a decent dinner at the restaurant at night. The free WIFI was also availble for no extra cost. Thank you to the owner for all his efforts for making our stay enjoyable.

Très bon accueil dans cet hotel très propre et aux chambres bien équipées. Le quartier est très calme, idéal pour ceux qui veulent faire de la randonnée. Une voiture est conseillée pour ceux qui n'aiment pas trop marcher, c'est à 5 km de Baiersbronn, la ville la plus proche.

Nice little hotel with clean rooms with balcony. The hotel is located outside Baiersbronn so you have to take the car or a bus if you want to go to the city center, and I strongly recommend this, because there is nothing to do in and around the hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a coach holiday. It's in a nice position, but that's it's best point. The owners were unwelcoming, unfriendly and downright rude. The food was poor quality. The breakfast was basic and the owner refused to replenish any items that ran out. Dinner was also poor quality, one evening we were served a very poor basic soup as a main course. Dessert usually consisted of a form of Angel Delight, the type you would give to a small child. Food was literally plonked in front of you and there was no choice. There is no lift in this hotel so not suitable for anyone with a disability. Make sure you take your key when you go out - the hotel is locked during the day - and they won't allow you in till 5pm. Take your own towels, the ones provided aren't fit for purpose. The beds are very low and uncomfortable. There is no lounge area to socialise. Luckily there's a lovely restaurant just across the road which some of us used regularly.

Spent 7 nights with Coach Tour, staff not as friendly and helpful as would have liked. Appeared not to value coach parties. All on board elderly or with mobility problems. Food was not imaginative. Cold buffet breakfast. No tea making facilities in room and randomly open for coffee during day. Location lovely, cafe nearby very friendly with lovely food.
