"Don't let the outside scare you! "

The place looks very shabby and run-down on the outside but it's perfectly pleasant inside. Basic facilities but plenty of hot water, good air conditioning, sporadic wireless. No breakfast. Great location a block from the beach, and the owner-operator Moti is very eager to do anything he can to make your stay more pleasant.

"Clean, well located, and hospitable"

While touring the north, we stayed in the Gaaton Motel, expecting to find dormitory like quarters. The rooms were set up aesthetically, very clean, and comfortable. The owner, Motti, went overboard to make our stay comfortable and personable. He even turned on the heat before we arrived, so that the room would be cozy and warm! I would definitely recommend staying here. Though we stayed here in the winter, it's worthwhile to point out, that the motel is one block from the beautiful Nahariya beach and boardwalk, with many restaurants and cafes in the area.

The owner welcomed us with flowers,he and his son were very accommodating. We highly recommend this place to everyone looking for affordable accommodation in a great location.

"Fine for short stay"

We stayed here for one night. It's clean, comfortable enough, reasonable price, very nice owner. Good location near beach and restaurants, but be aware the area has a lot of new construction. I wouldn't recommend for more than an overnight stay.
