Was so welcoming, vivienne was so helpful, arranged a wheelchair for my husband,. The guest house was so warm and cosy.

If you are going to Edinburgh, i cannot recommend this place enough. Beautiful property, well maintained. Lovely host and great breakfast offering. Room well equipped with everything you could need.

Fabulous guest house! Vivien is the perfect host, welcoming, friendly and gave us great tips to help us get the best from our trip. From where to eat/ drink, things to do and how to get there, she's very knowledgeable. Continental breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh and lovely quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't think twice about returning!

Viviene is an excellent host. Lovely comfortable bed. Free facilities, microwave, fridge etc. Close to walk to Old Town or bus outside.

The guest house was really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental with an array of fruits, cereals, cold meats and cheeses a welcome break from a full English breakfast. The host was very friendly and informative about the area. Although about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre the walk was pleasant taking in the historic buildings in the area.

Vivienne was a lovely host and took time to listen to our needs - providing gluten and dairy free products for breakfast after some of our party mentioned allergies - something we appreciated very much. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and clean and the location perfect. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a break in Edinburgh!
