Nice stay, staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi and air con worked well. Stairs to 2nd floor - no lift. I would stay again!

I stayed four nights and had a great stay. The staff was extremely nice. For the price the hostel was worth it since I had my private restroom and the room was spacious. It was a bit far from the tourist spot however the metro was near and convenient.

Nice hotel in a very good located, relatively close to the city's most interested places and a subway station.

I would like to inform you we had bad experiences when we stayed there is no lift you have to pick all your luggage up to 2nd floor no room service those who are use to room service pl don't. Breakfast is given in a coffee shop far from the hotel and booking.com never will put what type of breakfast they will give just one tost and coffee or tea. And during booking you have booked double bed they will give you twin bed when you will check inn all they say it's our choice to give what is alavable. They stitch off the air-con every time and when you complain they will say it's automatic and you have to get up to re-start the aircon power button They forget when automatic we don't have to re-start again and again . I say please find better place you have lot of choise at this price . And never do booking from booking.com they will ask you card details as guarantee but will debit you account and no choise but to stay.

The hotel's location is great. Close to several metro stations, many cafes, bars and restuarants. Althoughs rooms are basic, they are very clean and fresh. Roller shutter over window wouldn't stay up which made room very dark and hard to get up early without an alarm. Staff friendly.

The room was immaculate, the proprietor was very kind , helpful and friendly and helped to show us places to visit etc.Great value for money

Visited at the end of October 2016. We were given a room on the first floor which was not renovated. The bathroom was clean but very small and had to hold the shower head to be able to shower as the stand for it didn't fit. The bed was small and on one side there was a huge dip making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The bed sheets were stained and didn't dare look at what was under. We had booked this because of the location and price but were very disappointed to find that the room looked nothing like those advertised. Would not recommend.

Basic but well kept with courteous and efficient staff. Air conditioning only regulated centrally by staff. Can get noisy outside during the night ... Overall a positive experience.

I stayed 1 night with my mum before travelling on. Room was really nice and modern with good aircon. Lots of little bars in the area so was woken all night (even with ear plugs) to the sound of people talking in the street below. Would request a room at the back next time. Only additions that would make stay better would be a hair dryer and towel rails/ hooks in the room somewhere. Also no lift and 3 flights of stairs which are a bit slippery. Also found NO staff spoke English so difficult to communicate with them.

Went to Madrid for a day with some friends and again chose to stay a night at Hostal Jemasaca Palma 61. This time we chose the a-bit-more-expensive rooms and it was a good choice. Nice a clean with a great bathroom. Friendly staff as always. In a way I don't want to recommend the hotel because then it will be fully booked the next time I go to Madrid :) Seriously, with its location and high value for money it's a great choice.
