"Very pleasant, I'd stay there again."

The proprietors were friendly and helpful. It was a short, pleasant walk by the river into the town centre. I telephoned in advance to give an idea of my time of arrival and received a pleasant welcome. Very good value for money.

Limited parking, but that is nor unusual, and I was able to park in a nearby street and park outside when I packed my car.

"A pretty part of town, and very quiet despite the races being on the weekend we were there!"

We particularly appreciated the detailed instructions on getting around. The riverside walk into town is lovely. And being able to leave our bags with the hosts after checkout definitely made our last day in York more enjoyable - thanks!
