"A clean, homey, comfortable stay with kind hosts and everything I needed to enjoy my visit to York,"

The location was very handy to city center on foot, but was far enough away to be quiet. The hosts were friendly but mindful of privacy. The value for the money was fantastic!

I liked it all, but the facilities are a bit dated, and sound does travel some from the family quarters on the floor below. However, it was never disruptive or particularly intrusive.

Very friendly owners, all that I needed in the room, easy walking into the centre of York and I was able to park my car at the guesthouse. Perfect

Lovely staff, very comfortable bed

Two minor points: The 10am checkout is very early for the UK. There was no shampoo in the shower (there was body wash)

Great location, friendly owners Heidi and Greg were very accommodating and friendly/polite, very clean room and comfortable bed, only slight gripe is the shower but I tend to find most showers at guest houses/hotels aren't really built for people over 6ft! Minor gripe beside I really enjoyed my stay here, definitely back again when I'm next visiting York. Heidi/Greg, I may be in touch for another stay in October 😁

Slight issue with the shower height but that may just be unique to me as I'm 6ft 2.
