The Oystercatcher

Super nette Gastgeberin und sehr grosses Zimmer, das Frühstück war frisch zubereitet und sehr üppig, auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

La gentillesse des hôtes, L'emplacement Un petit salon à disposition avec fenêtre et vue sur la mer La mer de l'autre côté de la route, on y a pris nos apéritifs Le pub du village tout près a pied avec une soirée musicale merveilleuse et où on a aussi bien mangé... On a passé un très bon moment dans cette guest house... On recommande...

We booked the Oyster Catcher in Carlingford, thinking it was actually in Carlingford, which it’s not- it’s in Rosstrevor. There are 2 Oystercatcher accommodations noted as Carlingford and we booked the wrong one. When we realised on the day of the family wedding, we called the OysterCatcher to see if they could support getting us a taxi to collect us from the wedding reception and bring us to Rosstrevor. We were told to google it and that it was our fault so not their responsibility. The man was pleasant on the phone but not helpful. We couldn’t find a taxi to take us, so we drove 1.5hrs home instead. The OysterCatcher Lodge in Carlingford said that the mistake happens often as they both note their location as Carlingford.

Very nice host couldn't have been more helpful, lovely location close to town and park also, see across the road! Fabulous full irish breakfast

The large chair in room one restricted movement round the bed. Kept banging my leg on the bed corner. Nowhere really to move it to.

Lovely little B&B right on the waterfront of Carlingford Loch. Very comfortable bed, hospitible hosts and a good breakfast. Facilities are clean and nicely decorated. Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world.

The full Irish breakfast prepared in front of us was delicious. The room was a good size. The host was welcoming.
