Insel Fehmarn Hotel

We’ve stayed at Insel in the past a few times. As usual the staff were great & restaurant staff were lovely - a few changes to our room request upon arrival were met with efficient assistance. Unfortunately, cleanliness in the room has dropped significantly. In 14 days we only had 2 services(one being declined as we were staying in for the day). There were a few issues in the room I tended to myself over our stay but in general, cleaning standards & processes need a major overhaul if they wish to retain returning guests.

Very close to many good restaurants and town center. Receptionist lady was great, but cleaning staff MIA.

I requested a Queen Superior room for my ill Dad who just got out of hospital and waiting for me & mum to take him back home to Australia. Our arrival to the hotel at 11pm was shocking, there was no bed sheets, no towels, no mirowave, no TV remote, no chairs for the tables, no pillows no Wifi or Internet, moles in the bathroom and shower, no kitchen facility or places and pots.. it was the worse thing to see my Dad being shafted into an unSafe room. Bad breakfast it looks like left-over breakfast, no clean water. MY FRIENDS I WILL NOT RECOMMENED THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. Will not return to the hotel. Bad experience and really ashame the lack of service.

I stayed in a premium room. It was modern, clean and tidy with a kitchen. The aircon operated well. I love this place because it doesnt come with the hussle/ bustle of the bigger resorts. I get enough of that in NZ. Friends can come to party till 11pm.

Great place to stay...its not 5 star but my Premium room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

The staff provided top of the line hospitality service. They are true the the Samoan culture. Very helpful, and goes above & beyond to assist.
