Hotel Palia La Roca

Hotel is up a slight hill although not an issue for taxis/cars but coaches would have to drop on road. Clean hotel, warm welcome on arrival. Friendly bar staff and animation team. Full of energy and polite. 2 drinks per person, plenty of choice and never had to wait long. Hot drinks machine and cold water available too at the bar which was very much appreciated. Downside about the hotel is if you're put on the ground floor rooms especially if by lifts/next to bar and staircase down to restaurant as not all guests are respectful of this. First night's sleep was horrendous because of this and had to request to move rooms. I was told the room I was given at check in was an upgrade due to refurbished bathroom and that I'd not like the alternative single room as it was at the back of the hotel and needs work... I said I'll take my chances and asked to see it. Yes it was VERY dated and not appealing at all especially as it had bars on the widow and netting.... but it was clean, shower worked great and quiet which is what I needed. I can't go away and not sleep. The hotel really do need to work on those rooms though and upgrade. Luckily I was moved but I'm glad I was only staying for a short stay and was mainly to shower and sleep. I didn't put my clothes in the wardrobe as it had a musty old smell but I left hanging on the chair. The food was always hot and always had a choice. Fresh "show cooking" daily for fish meat etc and always salads, desserts and fruit. They did have themed nights too when we were there which included Mexican, Thai and Arabian. Always something to eat. Entertainment team were lovely, very happy and energetic. Bar staff friendly and welcoming, especially Laura and Jorge.

Staff were great. Hotel is beautiful and better than expected. Always someone going on if you enjoy having a laugh.

Recently stayed there. Great value for money. Location was great, close to the beach as walkable to the marina which is a must to visit. Lovely and clean with decent size bedrooms with a great shower. Food was very good for a 3 star hotel too.

I don't normally like hotel entertainment but Julia was a breath of fresh air, funny, entertaining, talented and a genuinely lovely young lady.Also a mention to Lovely Laura behind the bar who worked so hard on her own always with a smile.

Had a lovely week at this hotel. Room was a good size and cleaned daily. The pool area was lovely and had plenty of beds. The staff were amazing from check in to check out. The only downside to the week was the all inclusive drinks. Unfortunately they were really poor quality which was such a shame.

Booked for ten days beginning of April for a quick get away.Couldnt fault the hotel its staff or the food.Excellent.Hotel in an excellent location for the beach and promenade also found a little gem 5 minutes walk away.Its a park can't remember the name but worth a visit.Plenty of sun beds but you had to be on the ball for a good one.The beach only 5 minute walk less hastle.Got to say booked our holiday with TUI absolute waste of time.Never saw a rep or a Tui notice board while we stayed at the hotel.Reception put us wise to any of our questions.Would has no hesitation to return to the hotel.
