"Good location and helpful reception staff"

Had a 2 night stay and found the hotel, overall, to be ok. The lobby area is large but has few areas at which guests can sit. The bar only opens in the evening and is so dimly lit it's not suitable for dining in. Bedroom was large but the furnishings were quite worn with drawers stuck closed. The bed was comfortable, the heating was fine and the bathroom was a good size. Shower pressure was very poor though. The hotel feels like it needs some investment and refresh. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

"HOTEL EMPLOYEES RIGHT TO STEAL!"

Left boots in room and discovered within 30 min after I left. Called hotel and they called me back and said boots weren’t in room. Of course they were!!! Completed claim. “Hotel is not responsible for unsecured items in the guest room. Laws limit the liability for the hotel especially when there is a safe available in the guest room.” BEWARE of staying in hotels!!! Hotels will not take responsibility of items. Keep the do not disturb hanger on your door. The claim letter I received states the following. After careful review and consideration of the facts presented in this matter, we must respectfully deny the claim for your missing boots. The hotel is not responsible for unsecured items in the guest room. There was no evidence of employee theft of your items. The State Inn Keeper laws were posted in the room with a safe available. The State Inn Keeper laws limit the liability for the hotel especially when there is a safe available in the guest room. Per your on account you had checked out of the hotel before noticing the boots were missing. Our investigation finds no evidence that our Client committed any negligent act to result in this alleged incident and therefore liability is denied. We understand that you may not be satisfied with the outcome of this investigation; however, we only pay claims for which our Client is determined to be legally liable.

Location and room were great and decor was fabulous. Bed was very comfortable. Valet did a great job and had my car ready very quickly. Would absolutely stay here again.
