Location great, staff was sweet and helpful—especially front desk and valet folks. Those are the positives. Everything else was off. Dark and depressing. Design off. Weird blue lighting in hallways. Restaurant and bar…just weird. Empty for good reason. Bartender was clueless about what drinks were on hand and wasn’t very knowledgeable. Beds not comfy, comforters were lumpy from washing. In room coffee maker broken. Bathroom products not lux. Just not worth the money. And absolutely not an Autograph-level property. We stay at Marriotts a lot. Says it is a 4 star hotel, but definitely a 3 star. Disappointing stay.

Terrible experience! The hotel is in a great location and decorated nicely and seemed well maintained, but that’s where it ends. The staff are unwelcoming and downright rude. I booked 2 rooms for my friend and I for a birthday trip. I called at least 3 times ahead of our arrival to see if we could get our rooms near each other. I was continually told to call back. When I called the day of our arrival, I was told to wait until we got there. When we checked in, I was then told, we couldn’t get rooms near each other cause the hotel was sold out even though they noted our request in the reservation which was booked months in advance. The Marriott reservations line also talked me into a “breakfast package.” But come to find out when we got there, it was a ticket for just beignets. A ticket for a couple of beignets is not what I would call breakfast. The server in the breakfast room was a complete jerk when we questioned the discrepancy. The manager Chloe was rude, argumentative and wasn’t at all interested in trying to ensure we had a nice stay. Nor did she make any attempt to accommodate us. The bar is a complete joke. They will sell you an $18 cocktail in a plastic cup, even if you’re sitting at the bar and staying at the hotel. I went to the bar twice during my stay, and both bartenders acted like they’d rather be elsewhere. The staff needs some serious training on how to treat people. I’m an elite Bonvoy member, but I wouldn’t stay here again. There are nicer options in the area.

Pros: The location of this hotel was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a room on the eighth floor, which was nice because you didn't hear much noise. The room was very nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Cons: the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, very hard to see to put your make up on! The water pressure in the shower was very frustrating, making it very difficult getting shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. While we were on the 8th floor, we had a nice view, but our windows were filthy.
