"Good value, great location and the staff were brilliant."

Great location as good for moving around the south of Essex we wanted to and breakfast was fantastic. Food overall was great value for money and good quality.

Breakfast was only available from 10am Monday to Thursday which was a bit of a surprise, worth the wait though.

The room only had a stool to sit on although the restaurant happily provided me with a proper chair.

"It's our "go to" place for a short stay near Southend and will remain so."

The Cherry Tree is excellent value for money as a base. The staff, especially Charlotte were extremely helpful and gave us the room we requested and a nice touch was more milk for the room. An unexpected bonus was the Porsche meet in the car park on the first morning of our stay.
