We arrived earlier than we expected so were able to enjoy a beautifully cooked evening meal. The service and food were excellent. Our room was spotless, very comfortable bed. After a very quiet night's sleep, we decided to have a light breakfast as we were still full from our meal the night before! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient for a wedding we were attending. Clean, comfortable and roomy.

Nothing bothered us- a little tired in places but didn’t put us off.

Room was nice and modern. Shower was really good and very powerful.

Music blearing from garden speaker that was next to my room. Couldn’t get to sleep until it stopped at 11pm. Room not cleaned on 2nd morning and no way of requesting this to be done.

The overall general appearance of the place was smart and clean, only let down by the outside furniture, timber and in need of a rub down to refresh. The full English breakfast was excellent quality, just a shame we had to wait until 10.00am for breakfast service to start.

Breakfast not served till 10.00am !!!! Wiped out the morning having to wait until 10.00am to have breakfast, some people staying had to be off at 7.30am for work and could not get any breakfast before heading off. No air con in the rooms, the room was very very hot and only a small desktop fan was provided that was completely useless and full of dust, had to pick up a good quality fan to use in the room for the second night. It would be better if a good quality stand fan was provided in the room, this could be kept in the cupboard with the ironing board for use when needed, or even better install air con. The sink in the bathroom was very small with the tap in the way, could have a swivel tap so easier to use or better a bigger sink and the water only came out as a trickle. It was annoying that we could not put our food and drinks on the bill for our room, you had to pay for everything as you had it.

Breakfast had a good selection and well presented . Possibly a few items on the breakfast menu overpriced.

All was very good no complaints We will come back for our reunion next year.

Very comfy beds, nice and soft. Close location to the wedding venue "The Lawns" 12 minutes in a taxi. Excellent breakfast served with friendly staff
