The Manor House

The hotel is very quaint, the bar and breakfast really nice. the room was clean, small and a bit dark. The bathroom was basic but clean apart from the shower, the plug hole was absolutely filthy so bad the water wouldn't go down and i was panicking thinking it would flood. needs the hairs removed and some good old bleach.

I booked two rooms for myself and family. Ours was good however the feedback from the other room was that it wasn't. When a complaint was made, it was ignored. THought that some comment could have been made and acted on

Clean & tidy good value for money

Had one night stay, Asked if room could be made available earlier than normal, We had a wedding to attend and wanted to freshen up after a long drive, No problem room was ready as asked, Receptionist was very welcoming, Room perfect full of old world charm, Breakfast was huge freshly cooked to order and very tasty Great value, can’t recommend enough Thanks to all the staff

Nice little hotel reasonably priced

Great overnight stay,pity no evening food available but other places nearby,room comfortable and warm

The hotel was great for a short break, near the peak district. Breakfast was superb. Recommend the Indian over the road and the Green Dragon for a good night out
