Lovely place to stay, in a village location. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious will definately stay again if in the area

Friendly, welcoming service. Fantastic breakfast all included with the room . Lovely town with fantastic amenities, lots of places to eat out in the evening, of excellent quality. My one real criticism, is the Manor House don’t do evening meals. If they did it would be hard to fault them.

We had my fathers wake here, and stayed the night. They were fantastic and really looked after us. The rooms are quite cozy and the lighting is a bit poor. Great value

Really enjoyed our stay. Spacious room, in fact we had 2 rooms, living area with TV, suite and chairs and a sleeping area. The bathroom also had a separate shower and bathtub. The decor was also beautiful, a mix of old Georgian beams and subtle modern decor. We stayed in room 1. The bar downstairs was friendly and lively! With attentive staff both during the evening and also at breakfast. The breakfast menu was superb and all freshly cooked! We’d definitely stay again

Just returned from 2 night stay at Manor House. Very enjoyable. Comfortable and great breakfasts. Nice bar area and outside seating area. They dont do food in the evenings but can highly recommend The Angel at Holmefield for evening meals.

Everything was good, staff,room and the hotel in general,breakfast was very good.

Great place full of character. Warm and welcoming staff. We stayed in the Hepburn suite as it offered a king size bed. The living room, bedroom and bathrooms were all of a good size, and well appointed. The shower was fantastically powerful (which I hadn’t expected in a 17th century hotel. Given that the room faced the High St, it would benefit from secondary double glazing, and also a full black out blind would help. Fabulous breakfast in lovely surroundings. Right in the heart of Dronfield, the location couldn’t be faulted.

Our room was exceptionally small (room 11 I think), should really have been a single. Double up against a wall one side, no bedside table to put glasses, phone etc on, no bedside lamp so had to get out of bed and walk round corner and put main light on. Breakfast was fine but don't think I would stay again because of the room. Really needs updating, not too much to expect a bedside table and lamp.

We had an excellent stay at the Manor House. The room was great for the price and the breakfast was brill. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Indian restaurant across the road is also definitely recommended. Dronfield is near enough to the Derbyshire dales/peak district for sight seeing or walking
