Ringhotel Bundschu

We visited this hotel in August 2013 (late sending review so had to select 2014 as 2013 not an option)to celebrate our recent marriage with our German relatives. I was very impressed at how easy they were to deal with. Our celebration started at 4PM and lasted until the early morning hours the next day. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and the price was very reasonable. The owners were always very polite and accomodating, even when a few of us decided to extend the party into the wee hours of the morning. Thank you staff and owners for a memorable stay and we cannot wait to come back and visit.

The hotel room was clean and tidy, basic yet meets our needs. What's worth mentioning is their restaurant. If you happen to be there for a night stay the restaurant is definitely something you'd have to try. Plus most of their staff speak english quite fluently too.

This hotel is situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the centre of Bad Mergentheim. We had a very large comfortable room on the first floor. Furniture was fairly traditional but all in good order. The hotel is differentiated from large chain hotels by abundant flowers and a much more welcoming atmosphere. Parking was available and we were charged 8 Euros for one night in a bay well off the road. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were very good The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - they also spoke good English. It is 500 meters approximately into town on level ground. The hotel is family owned (and it shows - in a good way) but also part of the Ringhotel group which brings together similar hotels for marketing purposes. I have given a mark of 4 stars as there was no air-conditioning which made the room a little warm when we visited. There was also no lift which was no problem for my wife and I but did cause my 87 year old father-in-law a few problems.
