Pheasant Inn

Well located just outside Kirkby Lonsdale. The food was good, both dinner and breakfast. Good choice on dinner menu and good portion sizes, we left very full. The bar was lovely and cosy on a wet evening with the fires going and the staff were all pleasant. Room was fine and comfortable enough but was a little cold as had a draft from a void behind a cupboard and the bathroom needs updating as shower is only a hand held shower in bath, although i know some of the rooms have walk in showers.

The phesent is an old type Inn, lovely bar area,large dining room,snug lounge with comfy chairs. Our room was a four poster bed,very comfortable. The room was spotless. The staff were all lovely,we had an evening meal,not a huge menu,but very different choices from usual menus. Lovely food fantastic breakfast, would highly recommend a stay at the phesent Inn.

Lovely, old-fashioned pub with modern facilities and renovations in the room. Nice dinner, in the warm, friendly bar area and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very good all round we will definitely be returning to this place.

I booked one night to break my car journey from the Scottish Highlands to home in London. Attracted by the mention on Tripadvisor of the Sharrow Bay-trained chef, and the manageable price, I was delighted by the delicious dinner and breakfast, the friendliness of staff, and general level of comfort. Definitely worth the detour from the M6!

I had a lovely relaxed long weekend stay at The Pheasant Inn. All the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food and service was outstanding and well worth every penny. I will definitely be returning
