Pheasant Inn

The room and hotel were excellently clean. The food was great and the staff were friendly. The negatives- the room was very dated and the mattress was too firm (I like a firm mattress but I had a sore back in the morning). I would stay here again as the location was amazing, you felt very remote while being only a short drive from any of the lakes. It was peaceful and the views were lovely, I just wish they updated the decor in the rooms as then it would be a knockout.

We had a lovely stay. The pub was very comfortable and was good value for money. The food was amazing for the money. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Overall, I'd describe it as excellent. I'll stay there again.

Very enjoyable visit. Friendly staff and food as always of a very high standard. The only small disappointment was our room only had a bath( shower attached but no screen or curtain). I forgot to mention we would prefer a walk in shower so my mistake and all rooms booked so no chance for late change.Still a lovely 3 night at The Pheasant.

We enjoyed our stay at The Pheasant Inn - in particular the young team were brilliant - they were professional, courteous and just great at their job both on reception and in the restaurant. We also liked that the hotel is still taking heed of the restrictions to keep us all safe such as face masks etc for both staff and guests. It made us feel a lot better about being in the public areas. Nice quiet location and the food was great too. Thank you

A Lovely Old World Hotel where Service and Quality are at the forefront of everything, Set in Beautiful Countryside it's a trip back to the time when the Customer came first, The Food was first class and I would happily recommend to anyone, Excellent !

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Everywhere was spotless, everyone very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast very, very good. Will certainly return at some point.

A lovely stay, very clean accommodation and delicious food

Excellent service - the staff can t do enough to make your stay an easy one. I travel across the UK on business and always try to stay in independantly run hostelries. I was very pleased with the attention to detail and excellent service - this is a must after 14hrs on the road - Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pheasant Inn, a very pleasant welcome and the restaurant was superb. Easy access to the west side of the Yorkshire Dales park, stunning scenery.

Property and staff were lovely as was the breakfast an dinner. Enjoyed our stay.
