"Great stop over at the Pheasant Inn"

Excellent stop off overnight on our way from London to Scotland - good location and safe on site parking was a requirement. We received a lovely warm welcome and the Inn was well sign posted and laid out to adhere to COVID rules. Great dinner and breakfast with super home made marmalade for our toast. Will stay at the Pheasant Inn again.

"An extremely pleasant Pheasant"

(It seems possible to submit reviews to either Inn or Restaurant pages). This was an excellent choice for our first stay anywhere since February 2020 and we were not disappointed by our one night, with breakfast, and prebooked evening meal. All aspects of Inn hospitality met our expected CoVid-19 hygiene standards and we felt safe staying there. All staff were very friendly and eager to please. Our room was spotless, comfortable bed, good bathroom (bath & over-shower), tea/coffee facilities, good WiFi & (v) small TV (Freeview/Sat & really only useful for news channels such was it's size). Evening meal was prebooked for a specific chosen time but the location was ours for the evening (including our predinner drinking from the bar) ensuring sufficient social distancing was maintained. The food for both evening and breakfast was excellent. The usual buffet breakfast was delivered to the table and there was plenty of choice. Thanks for a really pleasant stay.

"Lovely little retreat. "

Lovely hotel, staff excellent, very clean, great food. Only problem for me was the bed, not very comfy and a little noisy but would definitely stay again.
