Beautiful little hotel upon a mountain side. Staff was excellent and the grounds were very pretty. Only downside was it took 10 to 20 minutes to get down to the main highway and tour companies would not pick you up from there. You have to hire their shuttle to take you or an Uber is much cheaper.

The hotel was very nice and we had a great time during our stay. Staff was amazing, very friendly and always welcoming. The food was good too. I will say that if you're planning on staying at this hotel your best bet is to rent a car. Everything is far away. We loved walking and unfortunately we couldn't do any of that around the hotel because there's no sidewalks to walk offsite. The nearest attraction that we wanted to see was the Volcan Poas, but it was closed due to being active. So, check before you go. The beaches were also far away, we had to drive 3 hrs to get to a beach. Pros. Clean hotel, super friendly staff, peaceful environment Cons.. Far from the big cities and major attractions

Staff was friendly, cute small hotel away from the City, the no ac part caught me by surprised but wasn't all to bad, at night gets a little cold and early morning as well, restaurant waiter Alex was the MAN! HE SAFED OUR VACATION AND SERVE US FIRE FOOD FROM THE HOTEL, WILL DEF STAY AGAIN IF POSSIBLE

This hotel is absolutely fine for a clean spot to stay when flying into or out of SJO. The hotel itself is dated, does not have air conditioning, and there is not much around it, but it was clean, comfortable, had a beautiful view down into the city, and was close to the airport. The breakfast was good and all the staff seemed attentive.

Absolutely beautiful property. Stunning views from pretty much every room. Our room has the mountain view. Breathtaking. Pool was small but perfect size since the hotel wasn't packed. Food was excellent! Room service excellent! Staff was excellent! Loved this place!

Absolutely beautiful place! The airport shuttle is very convenient.

The property was beautiful and clean. The only downfall was the lack of air conditioning. We did not think to ask if they had air conditioning because we took it for granted that they had air. We’ve never been anywhere without air conditioning. The other downfall was the shower. It was horrible. There was no pressure at all. It took you a good hour to rinse off.
