Buena Vista Chic Hotel

My partner and I stayed at Buena Vista Chic Hotel for one night, and the experience was truly exceptional thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, the front desk worker welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism. She offered us cold drinks and refreshing wet towels, making us feel instantly relaxed and cared for. The excellent service continued with the two male staff members from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had an early flight the next morning and wouldn’t be able to enjoy the hotel’s breakfast. Without hesitation, they packed us a to-go breakfast so we wouldn’t miss out. We opened our bags at the airport and were delighted to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal before our flight—such a simple gesture that made a big impact. The team at Buena Vista Chic Hotel truly made our short stay memorable with their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

The driver from the hotel picked us up at the airport. 30 min later we arrived in the hotel. Upon arrival we had a welcome drink and detailed info about the hotel/rooms. Very nice hotel. Our room was very big with a wonderfull view on the mountain/vulcano. Breakfast was very nice with a coffee corner. Fruit on the Table and you can order from a menu. The garden is very nice. Ideal place to relax. This is the ideal place to start your holiday

This little gem was a breathtaking. We were picked up by their shuttle and Jonathan was extremely polite. He drove us to this secluded place where Buena Vista is located. The place is located in a forest area. The property is surrounded by trees and flowers. It’s a place where one can relax, enjoy the view of nature and overlooking the mountains and city. You will find inner peace at this location. The staff are excellent and extremely friendly! They were very welcoming. We even had a chat with the owner of the place. It’s rare to stay in a hotel where the owner will engage in conversation with their guests. We enjoyed this hotel truly. We stayed for two nights and will definitely be back again! Thank you for an amazing experience.

This hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Food was very good. Staff is warm and plentiful. Small pool. Grounds are beautiful. Wonder views of the valley. Would love to stay here again. One complaint: We booked a tour through the hotel to Grecia and Sarchi. The gentleman who led the tour was a great driver and super friendly. I really enjoyed his company. I did learn midway through the tour that he is a maintenance worker for the hotel. Not a professional tour guide. For the cost, my expectation was that I would have a professional guide. A professional guide with all the knowledge they gain through years of schooling to be a guide. Having said that, this gentleman was a pleasure to hang out with. Loved the hotel and would stay again.

We stopped here one night as part of a tour group ( Mercury Holidays). We arrived after dinner so we’re given a lovely sandwich and drink. Clean rooms with lovely products. No water but as we came to realise this is a common theme in Costa Rica- there was water filling at the reception. We least early and was given a packed breakfast which was nice and appreciated.

I loved the views and the staff and the location was excellent

Great location with a beautiful view of the Central Valley. The lawn with chairs overlooks the view. A variety of birds including toucans and parrots could be seen in the trees around the lawn. Has a very small pool. We stayed in the main lodge which was comfortable even though there is no air conditioning. There were several villas on the property that had families staying in them. The meals were al a carte with breakfast included. The meals were good and prices reasonable. This hotel is best for 1 or 2 night stays going to or coming from the airport. No attractions or town are within walking distance. The staff members were excellent.
