Bariseele B&B

Communication with Benny before the stay was excellent. Plenty of information provided about places to eat and drink. Great location for seeing all the sights of this beautiful city (should have followed Benny's directions to find it as we did get lost/ drove around in circles for some time!). It was good to have the car locked away securely but within a very short walk. A very enjoyable short break.

I have written about B&B Bariseele several times in the past (even wrote a song about it). This time I wanted to be even more unique. But how? The reviews are amazing. Almost everyone that has submitted these though, seem to have written many before. All reviews mentioned how Benny and Bariseele are the best thing since sliced bread (reminds me of breakfast at Bariseele). So, what can I do differently? Hmm. Bariseele rates number 8 out of 191 B&Bs in Bruges. So, what makes the others better. I decided to investigate them. They all sound so good. Yet Bariseele has something that draws folks back. What is it? From my knowledge of Bruges, Benny’s location is the best. Hands down, no doubt. It is location, location, location. Bariseele is a short stroll through a residential, ancient past to the Grote Markt. Yet, it is so quiet and peaceful that it might as well be in a different town. Of all the 1 to 7s B&Bs, it is closest to Damme (a very pleasant walk with rewarding sites and pubs, of course). On TripAdvisor, Bariseele has the oldest review. In May 2008, i4travel wrote the first review which sounds like the latest ones (except the room has been greatly updated). They wrote (and gave Bariseele 5 dots) : ”Spacious, lovely suite The Bariseele B&B is … in the same building as the Hotel Fevery. My husband & I stayed in the one that is one floor above street level. …. It was very spacious, airy, with high ceilings. … The daily breakfast (brought to the room on a tray) was very good and generous. The Bariseele is in a quiet, historic neighborhood … There is a grocery store just around the corner, about a 2 min walk. … Benny, the owner was friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend the Bariseele.” This review was the start of so many consistent reviews that followed. Well done everyone. Well done, Benny. Everything! Benny is a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything in it you could wish for. The breakfast brought to your room each day was outstanding and also varied each day too. Set in a very quiet location, yet only a 10 minute walk to the main square. There are also pubs, supermarket etc even closer by.

We stayed at B&B Bariseele for 3 nights as it was the best time of whole trip. Hospitality on highest level. Great location, every attraction in walk distance. During check-in lovely people share the information about all places you should visit. If you want the best Belgium experience in the world definitely choose this family business for your stay❤️

Close enough to the city but far enough to be quiet. Beautiful room.

Superb welcoming host. Nothing was too much trouble. Ideal location away from the busy city centre but only a ten minute walk to the main attractions. Beautifully prepared breakfast served in your room and an honesty bar with a good selection of beers and wines. Very large room beautifully decorated and spacious.

Wow, Everything! from the first connection with Benny the host, the tips and information to explanations. The room is large and spacious, with great sunny light. the decor is relax with a touch of luxury. The Bathroom is giant and comfortable. And I don't have enough words to describe the breakfasts, so rich and testy! We will definitely come here again! Thank you Banny!

Having travelled to more than 60 countries spending about 3 months a year overseas, Bariseele B&B is one of the best short stay apartments I have ever stayed in. Benny and Paul are great hosts and it is obvious they take great pride in the service they provide. The rooms provide everything a person would need at the highest quality. The breakfast is more than anyone could possible eat, presented in a lovely manner. We couldn't rate this property any higher.

If anything the internet was a bit flakey at times, however we could still stream from Netflix.

Everything! From the comfortable bed and spacious sweet to the incredible breakfast - everything was top notch. It truly was a fantastic and memorable stay. Benny was the warmest host with incredible communication and suggestions. We really hope we to visit again in the future
