The Waterloo is a great location. Handy to the Railway station, Bus interchange TSB arena and central city. Price very affordable. Clean enough. This was our third time staying at the Waterloo. It's basic but the location and price keep us coming back. Noted it's currently undergoing an upgrade. There was new carpet in our room. The hallway was also being repainted.

Shared bathroom really dated. Worn. Would be nice to have clean windows. I understand window cleaning is not easy on the 5th floor, and probably get dirty again quickly but they were quite dirty.
