Gaia Riverlodge

Gaia has an Amazing location perched above a beautiful waterfall. Three days was sufficient for us—gave us time to tour a Mayan Ruin and canoe thru a nearby cave. The food was outstanding as was the staff. Javier and Freddie really made the stay next level. The road in needs some attention, beyond that our stay was great!

Phenomenal is an understatement. The property is stunning, and the service is out of this world. Special thanks to Selvi, Freddy, and Javier for taking exceptional care of us. Definitely get a waterfall room! We can’t wait to return!

What an amazing resort! We loved every moment of our time at Gaia. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the food is wonderful. The views - from the waterfalls to the decks overlooking the property - are truly unbelievable. We loved the nature trail on site, and the excursions (we did the cave kayaking and ruins) were so amazing. You will not regret booking Gaia - it is such a special magical place!

The staff and facilities were amazing. We did a guided tour nearly every day. Every guide was phenomenal - knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Everything you could ask for. The river is so relaxing we could have stayed there all day and would have been thrilled. Cannot recommend enough.

Delightful and very picturesque in the middle of the Belize jungle. Staff, food and location are great - it is remote but beautiful!

Excellent cuisine, highly personalized service. Breathtaking setting! Fabulous, friendly and very knowledgeable tour guides! Make sure to do the bird watching walk.

Amazing Vacation and Experience. From the moment we started working w/ the hotel for our group of friends, we were amazed at every turn how wonderful the service was. Nigel (GM) was off the chart exceptional. Angelina Concierge was incredible helpful. The bartenders and front desk were probably the most attentive we have seen in years. Truly 5 STAR service. Our room was spotless everyday w/ the friendliest morning coffee service team every. We even took a garden tour, and Randolph was spoke so intelligently about the gardens, plantings, organic solutions - really incredible. I must point out - Rick (Rick ipedia) we call him - took us on two incredible exertions and he was so well versed in the history of each day trip (ruins and the caves) it was like we went w/ a professor of history. My husband had was a bit nervous and he walked us through it! I was worried about heights and he walked me through it. Incredible camp councilor - ha ha. We booked the Culture Dinner w/ Wine pairing - and it was fantastic. Everyone said it was a trip of a lifetime. Nicely done by all.

The rooms were rustic and luxurious as expected, the grounds and common areas wonderful. The beach area by the river/waterfall was perfect. The food and cocktails are excellent. The standout here is the staff. They know everyone by name and provide absolutely top notch service.
