Baiyun City Hotel

House keeping staff did not wash the used cup daily for my stay over 4 days. The mattress squeaks when i moved my body.

Near to bus to airport, many taxi, tut tut, near to wholesale market. But the toilet smelly.

Very basic hotel, room is small, poorly maintained, breakfast is very poor not worth your time. Front desk staff knows very little English. 10minute walk from the nearest metro station, should be Guangzhou Railway Station, dont mistake it with Guangzhou EAST Railway Station. Beside the Guangzhou Railway Station going to the different parts of China which made the surroundings dirty due to the many people taking the railway. Not recommended for families with small children. Airport bus A is 3minute walk. Better to take this to/fr the airport than the metro.

The hotel like all chinese hotel on this price are simple, small, the bed is hard, the breakfast regular to bad, but it is what you pay, for only sleep is ok, and is near the subway

This hotel is one of the few hotels that are well priced at the time of the Canton Fair. And the daily shuttle service to and from the Fair is excellent. The hotel is also close to the metro (Guangzhou Railway Station, exit D2). The only disappointing thing is that the food options near the hotel aren't that great. There are few average Chinese cuisine restaurants adjacent and a McDonalds and a KFC a short walk away. However, if you feel like more variety that isn't takeaways, you need to catch a train. Also the free breakfast was basic and exactly the same every morning.

Overall good experience. Staff was very good especially Chris. The stay was comfortable with easy access to nearby places. Massage parlor was not very near the hotel. Mcdonalds in the station premises was expensive as compared to outside the station. Would highly recommend to stay.

The room is clean (Business room). Close to Guangzhou station & subway station very convenience. Airport bus pick up point just 3 minutes walking distance from hotel only RMB18. Shuttle bus to Canton Fair in the morning & return to hotel in evening. either by shuttle bus or sub way train takes about 45 minutes to canton fair. only inconvenience is difficult to get better restaurant surrounding the hotel, mostly are fast food.
