Hotel Oltremare

Friendly staff, great location and very clean room.

Beautiful modern remodeled rooms with direct view on Tyrrhenian Sea.

This is a reasonably priced hotel that is just a 10 minute taxi ride to airport. The staff is personable, the restaurant is excellent and the beach is across the street.

I had a very nice time in Fiumicino. Everything is pretty much accessible even a mini market nearby. But watching the sunset and waking right onthe beach, Priceless! Very clean and staff helpfull. I wish their restaurant was open more hours ir perhaps have some music etc.

If you are going to spend the night at Fuimicino, better stay in Oltremare, great afternoon walk, even greater food and atmosphere in the beach side restaurants, though I stayed a Saturday night, it was very lively, locals were dressed up.

10 min from airport. Clean, comfortable room, nice a/c! Beach fun for walking around, water not so nice. Can see the sunset. Great, affordable seafood restaurant across the street on corner. Downside, no one at reception between 1:00-3:00. Got lucky when cleaning lady happened to come back to get something and checked us in. She was very nice and helpful to check us in during her lunch break! Grazie ancora :) In the evening, the front desk guy seemed to be constantly in and out- had to wait 15 minutes for him so I could make a phone call. In the morning, different guy also not around to make coffee when guests may be in a hurry to get to airport. Breakfast one of the worst. Very slow elevator, can't use stairs. Another problem- dead plants, lots of them,first thing you see outside, makes hotel look scary. Please water the plants! If they could find a front desk person who keeps eye on reception and cares about guests and hotel appearance, would be a cute hotel!

Across from the ocean, walked on the beach and walkways. Awesome view for such a great price! No view in the back where we stayed. Beds were good. Continental breakfast was good and lot's of pastries. Staff was helpful. Taxi picked us up in the morning and took us to airport for $20.

The setting is beautiful. We wish we'd arrived earlier to enjoy it longer. We arrived during dinner rush at the restaurant, so we had to search a bit for someone to check us in. However, once in, we were surprised and pleased with the room. The desk manager arranged early breakfast and taxi for us, and we appreciated that. Fare to and from Fiumicino was 20 euro each way--not bad a bad bargain, considering the reasonable price for the room. We chose to eat at Bosso Pizza about two blocks east. It was inexpensive and excellent. Overall, a very nice stay.

Hotel was great, staff wonderful. Breakfast was awful.
