Four Seasons Island Resort

For an option that is in the Northwoods, yet is very out of the way, this is a definite go to place. The staff was very accommodating. We were very pleased with our room, the cleanliness, and easy access to restaurants, pool area, and outdoor venues. We specifically came up for the Waterfall Exploration tour. We were not disappointed.

Cool place to stay; nice pool

Location is very nice. Nice and secluded. Some restaurant food was very good. Some wasn't as good. They seemed short staffed, but overall did good.

We travel a lot on our motorcycles with other couples this is the only place we have been that refused to split our bill, and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude about it, we will take this place off of our list of places to stay while we are traveling.

The property was nice, but the room was VERY overpriced. I know it was a weekend, but crazy expensive for a hotel in the middle of nowhere.

This historic property is a wonderful place to stay for rest and relaxation. The 9 hold golf course is in great shape! Gorgeous grounds.

It was really nice, however our room would not warm up. We turned it to 75 and it was better. We only set home at 68 so don’t know what was up. Dinner was good…….but food came out not hot at all except the soup. Oh the soup…… carrot and ginger. Sounded amazing. We travel a lot and enjoy cooking as well, so our palates are seasoned ☺️ The soup would’ve been fabulous if the carrot part wasn’t overtaken with ginger. Ginger is potent so you don’t need alot. My tongue burned a bit. Ate what I could because I really wanted it. A bit to much salt on things also. Moreover, it was wonderful and clean along with friendly staff and other eats were yummy! Great facilities.

Overall our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. The facility and rooms are very clean. Due to near end of summer season and Covid, limited guests. Food was excellent in main restaurant and Bounty Waters. We golfed both days and staff really work to keep this course watered and mowed. Our only concern was when checking in, we were given no information about activities, breakfast restrictions, since it was advertised as Continental, or waterfall tours in the area.
