"Exceptional"

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Four Seasons 36 years ago, and this was our first trip back to stay at the hotel. It is a beautiful facility that combines the history and legacy of the resort, with modern amenities.

"Disappointed "

The balcony was terrible. Floor was wet and sunken under the air conditioner. A coating of dead bugs on the railing and exterior wall. Disgusting. There was 45 minutes left for the breakfast. There was no eggs. I asked the front desk if they are making more. She said no Tony the bartender was great Melissa at the spa was wonderful

"Lovely stay but..."

First, I have to state the hotel is on an island. How cool! The room was very spacious and clean. It didn't have that "old musty smell," which was a plus. I enjoyed my stay, but there were a few issues. The website didn't state some of the restaurants were closed. I wanted to spend more time at the resort, but no restaurants were open for breakfast. Only bar food was available from 11 am - 9 pm. My bathroom had a whirlpool tub/shower combination. Very strange. Being shorter, I had to carefully lift my leg without slipping. My 6'5" husband even had difficulty. I recommend the hotel install grab bars as the shower was very slippery. Lastly, I understand hotels are short of staff, but getting clean towels without asking would have been nice.

First time there at the Four Seasons and it was simply incredible. First off, We stayed in 4 star hotel in Milwaukee, for triple the cost of the Four Seasons, and it was pretty lame and not much to brag about. Then we drove to the Four Seasons and our mouths dropped, A PICTURE PERFERT PLACE. The second you drive over the bridge, you realize you are staying in paradise. The only issue for us, we were on a business trip; we were unable to enjoy all the amenities the hotel offers. The staff is extremely friendly and informative. The rooms we clean, bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN (PROMISE)!

When we booked, we thought we were going to have a room with a stove, all we had was a microwave. I even requested pots, pans, dishes etc. Couldn't cook with the pots and pans when we only had a microwave.
