The Downtown, a Coast Hotel

The portable AC is very loud. I couldn’t sleep well.

Overall good. There was no bath plug and the hot water was really unstable (sometimes it randomly turned burning hot or freezing, really unpleasant). Beyond that, it was a fairly good hotel.

Was clean and right downtown as described

No information about the closure of restaurant, the office being closed during winter and having to go to a different location just to check in. Then returning to check out, wasn’t convenient at all.

I liked the localization and the the staff, Downtown and Eldorado who attended me at the front desk for Downtown, all of them were great.

The shower was crazy. I set it to a comfortable temperature, but during the shower, it kept changing from very hot—hot enough to burn my skin—to very cold. Sometimes the water pressure was so strong that it soaked the entire bathroom. The main building of the Downtown Hotel was closed, so I stayed in the annex, which didn’t have a reception, and I had to use the reception at the Eldorado Hotel. I didn’t have any issues with this arrangement, but it would have been helpful if they had informed me at the time of booking that, during this time of year, there was no reception available at the Downtown Hotel.

There was breakfast?? The location was good for what we wanted.

It was very old and rundown. It was clean for what they had to work with.

This property is situated in a town that feels like you're coming out of a old western movie. It was really cool and being surrounded by mountains was beautiful.
